Caustic soda flakes/prills: sodium hydroxide flakes/prills is a strong alkali with a pH greater than 12. It is highly corrosive. It is highly hygroscopic and absorbs water and carbon dioxide form the air. It finds its application in the manufacture of pulp and paper, textiles, drinking water, soaps and detergents and as a drain cleaner.

Caustic soda is available in two grades: Technical grade and pure grade
